Andrew Davidson - 2 podium finishes at the Tour de l'Abitibi Junior International Stage Race in Quebec .

Jenny Trew, 4th place, Senior National Road Racing Championships, London , Ontario - Team Opus.  5th in National Champs Keiren.

Opus Women's Professional Cycling Team founded by Dan Proulx - competes at the Montreal World Cup.  Swiss National Champion and Olympian, Priska Doppman, rides for the team and gets 4th.

 

2001

 

Jenny Trew, wins Silver in Sprints at Nationals to Lori Ann Meunzer at Senior National Track Cycling Champs

Corcoran and MacKinnon win Silver and Bronze medals in Sprints at Track Nationals.

Trew earns Bronze medal in 500m Time Trial at Track Nationals.

Team Alberta team pursuit is a disaster and creates one of the funnier moments at the National Track Cycling Championships.

Jenny Trew, Laura Yoisten and Lysanne Delonge represents Alberta at Canada Games in London .

Trew races  San Rafeal Criterium in California with Verizon Wireless.

Laura Yoisten wins named to Junior National Road team for Green Mountain Stage Race - Vermont

Yoisten attends Junior World Road Cycling Championships

Andrew Davidson and Eric Holland compete at first National Mountain Bike Championship in Camp Fortune , Quebec .

 

1999

Zach Davis finishes 3rd at Junior National Time Trial Championships.  Places 8th at Tour de l'Abitibi time trial.

Zach Davis wins Silver medal in Pursuit at Track Nationals.

Ryan McKenzie does out of competition time trials and would have won Track Nationals in 2 events - but forgets about the meet entry deadline and must race exhibition.  Tough lessons!

Laura Yoisten wins Bronze medal at Junior   National Mountain Bike Championships.

Jenny Trew finishes 2nd at Junior National Time Trial Championships behind Genvieve Jeanson.  Also places 3rd in Junior National Road Race Championships.

Dave Johns, Laura Yoisten, Jenny Trew represent Alberta at Western Canada Games.

Andrew Davidson and Eric Holland join Olympic Oval junior program as cadets.  Only interested in one thing - MTB.  They hate track and road - where they would eventually find success.

Jenny Trew finishes 2nd in Points Race, 2nd Sprints, 2nd in 500m TT

Travis Smith finished 2nd in Junior Kilometer at National Champs.  Also represents Alberta at Tour de l'Abitibi

Lysanne Delogne, 3rd in Sprints, 3rd  Pursuit  and 2nd in 500m at Junior Track Nationals

Laura Yoisten, 4th in Sprints at Junior Track Nationals

Laura Yoisten places 8th at Junior National Triathlon Championships in Winnipeg .

 

 Tri-Athletics Sport Club changes name to Olympic Oval National Cycling Center Junior Program.  Members include riders who would eventually be highly competitive in the National and International level of cycling.  The following athletes went on to become successful cyclists:
